Yeah i have had the fish for a good 6 months now and the only thing that has changed would be the fish's lips have gotten bigger.

Will the colors change? The one i seen on google had orange red on the fins. And the color on the body itself is a bit different.

I feed mine a mixture of peas and squash. They love it and mixed in is some brine shrimp.

Many of the fish at the lfs are wild caught. So u just need to quarantine before u put in ur main tank.

I had a fire mouth with its whole tail ripped off. It survived and is actually still alive and will battle anything in the tank with him. It will probably be fine.

Some should survive. The ones tht are smart enough to hide. They will get tiny pieces of food. But if u want a lot more than a few to survive then better get a holding net or a side tank.
