I also have 2 mj 1200 on my 55 and also use the naturalwave timer (one ph blows for 20 secs shuts off and the other ph blows for 20 secs) works pretty well for the $$$ spent.

I have 70 lbs of LR in my 55 AGA along with 50 lbs of LS. It has been cycling for 3 weeks. My question is,can i remove the biobale out of the skimmer or should i wait. My ammonia is .2 and my trates and trites are spiked, Ph is 8.3. thanks for the help....

This is growing all over the glass and the LR seems to be turning brown and getting little hair like algae growing all over it? Is this normal? I am 20 days into cycle. My water parameters are spiked. Amonia,Trites are spiked higher than my test shows,Trates are at about 200ppm, Total Hardness...

I just took one of the PH and went around and blew the LR with it. Worked pretty good. Just trying to get all the decay of the rock and into the water column so it can be filtered . Looks a little better. My wife thinks something is wrong because of all the brown algae growing on everything...

Should you run your lights while cycling your tank with LR? Been cycling for a 1 1/2 weeks with 15 lbs. LR, with lights on. I'm getting 55 lbs more Thurs. Should i have the lights on or off. If on, for how long? This is a 55 AGA, light is a coralife 260w Lunar.

Now i have a bunch of brown spots on the LS. I check my AM level and it's higher than .8 . It was like a blue teal color. Is there a problem? Thanks....
