Can someone tell me what they think this is and how to care for it.

i have those too. they're called cladacora arbuscula. they're a type of tube coral. they really opened up after i started feeding my tank after my recent addition of fish. they seem pretty hardy. they really like mysis shrimp. HTH

I would say some sort of tube coral.
