Yeah that curve just started this week when her belly got a little bigger. I know it is rare for the eggs to not get eaten and that doesn't bother me one bit. Just wasn't sure why she has been big for months now but acts completely healthy. I will see what I can do about getting a better...

Does anyone know at all?

We have had our Danios a few months now and I don't recall her ever not being big. Not sure if she is carrying eggs or what. I feed them once a day and she is healthy and feisty as ever so I don't think she is sick or anything. Thanks for your help.

I have a feeling my tank is getting ick. I bought a female Betta on Friday. Took her out Saturday as we noticed a few spots and thought it could be ick. Nothing on anyone else in the tank. Treated her with extra heat 82 and API Super Ick Cure and after the first day her spots are all gone...

I have a female Betta in my 20 gal tank with some Platy's, Molly and cardinal tetras. Now my question is I feed tropical granules to my freshwater fish and I can't keep the Betta from eating them and vise versa. So is it ok to just keep feeding the granules to all including my Betta? Thanks

Is it possibly to have him in the 5 gal alone? Just if he has something not sure if he will pass it on

Probably it could be ich. If you do a search on here for ich you will find a lot of great advice. You could also google fish with ich and look at pictures to see if it is infact what it looks like.

I had that happen to one of my Mollies never figured it out and sadly enough had to put her down. Someone on here did have a guppy like that and I believe it eventually passed away.

No you do want to add slowly so that you don't overload and get a huge ammonia spike or anything. You never want to add all at once.

Ya I can't see it being the frogs at all.

You can wrap your tank good in foil and then blankets to help keep them heated.

Nobody is telling you that you can't do it, they are telling you it is not right to do it.

For starters I would fine out for sure f they are male/female. Can you post pictures?

My money is on the Angel. My sister had them and they killed everything in the tank.

I think sometimes these mystery illnesses just happen. Fish don't usually get sucked to the filter unless they are sick. We had it happen to a Danio a few weeks back. Everyone else was fine.

Well if you want to stay away from guppies I would return both then... I take it you are doing a Fishin cycle. Have you been testing your water? It is also best to have at least 5 tetras together so I would grab a few more of them....

Oh my you have all of this in a 6 gal tank? Took me a minute to clue into the size .You need a much bigger tank if this is what you have. Danios shouldn't be in anything less then a 20 and Platy's need at least 10 gal tanks...

Danios don't get pregnant they lay eggs. This in turn doesn't make them look pregnant, it could be bloating. As for your fry, if your filter has an intake the fry can get sucked into so you can cover that with nylons. How often and what are you feeding your fry?
