I don't know much about lake Victoria cichlids, but it may be able to work since you have the milder tempered mbunas. I know the general rule if thumb is not to mix lakes but like I said I don't know too much about lake victoria

Auratus are another possibility. Some people have had problems with them being too aggressive, but mine have gotten along just fine with the fish mentioned above. I have mine in a 75 gallon
Well Hob I don't see where she says what size tank it is to begin with. Also, she said the fry were in her tank not in his with the tiger barb. Just sayin'
