I used only drylok. I use quickcrete concrete tint to color my drylok. I like how it came out.

I don't have experience with that filter but my experiences with other canister filters a little Vaseline on the rubber seal helped stop any leaks I had.

What kinda paint would you use on a glass aquarium to paint the background.

They do breed like rabbits. I have a tank full of them started with 20 now i cant count them all.. The big things are clean water and stable parameters. And nothing that will eat the shrimplets of course.

Yea lol there good at hiding. When I got my 3 horne nerites I didnt see them for almost 2 weeks after I put them in the tank lol.

Put some purigen in the filter. That stuff does wonders for making water crystal clear.

I second the purigen it works wonders for clearing up tannis making the water crystal clear. I use it in all my tanks.

With a betta its hit or miss if it goes after the shrimp all depends on the individual personality of the fish. Some are lazy and dont even notice the shrimp and then some bettas will hunt them..
