Hi guys
Thinking of doing deep clean of 180l planted tank. Now any do's or don'ts I should watch for. There's alot of bogwood in the tank. Want to get under it so can really sort out the bits. I don't mind stripping the tank but don't want to up set the fish more than I have to

well stripping the tank is dont for sure.

why are you wanting to do a deep clean? if you have alot of live plants then they will appreciate what collects in the gravel if thats what you have

some people do not even clean the substrate in their planted tanks

Gave bits in the water column. That gets on my goat. I do 30percent wc once two a week. Just can't seem to get the water crystal clear.

Have a jbl external filter. Crystal greenpro something or other. Rated for 400-500l 3 trays of biomedia and a tray of sponge and filter floss.

Put some purigen in the filter. That stuff does wonders for making water crystal clear.
