i just bought some giant hairgrass at the lfs today, ive separated the pot and planted them around the tank. i have a 42 white 3 blue LED light bar with 4.62 total watts. and my concern is will that be enough watts per gallon for it? no fert and no c02 inject

thats what i planned on doing, maybe not even for store credit. just because i love the local fish store, and that way i can know they will always have healthy, humanely raised fish. how were your water parameters for the kribs to breed if you remember?

this might have been asked many times before, but is it possibly to comfortably keep a pair (male and female) in a standard 10 gallon? why a 10g? i just have it lying around and want to do something with it. and really badly want to raise a cichlid. thanks in advance for replies and suggestions...

i just want to know where everyone finds those awesome smaller pieces of drift wood. i need one or two pieces for my tank and cant seem to find any on the internet. i say leave it where it is though, its more.....natural :D

they offered earlier today while i was there, the only downside is that the closest LFS to the base i live on is 30 miles away (quarter tank round trip=why im broke). so thats impractical. but im going to start taking a sample anytime im on my way there.

ive researched the barbs alot, and i am reconsidering seeing id the LFS will allow me to return them (he only told me the policy on the dead ones). cut if they accept them back, what sort of tetras would be recommended, and how many.

what about one pygmy cory? their bottom feeders, and the two barbs are mid- upper level swimmers, as well as the gourami, would that still be over crowded. i just want the most i can while still keeping my fish as happy as can be. any suggestions are welcome.
