I have one ocellaris(tank raised) clownfish in my tank at the moment. I would like to add a few more. Must they be added in pairs and is it safer to keep an even amount of them , I was think of adding 3 more so I would have four in the tank. Is this a good idea? Can more than two be kept in a tank?

In the daylight you might not see the lunar lites. They are dim but in darkness they are quite nice. I keep the lunar lites plugged in and on all the time. I found more information on their website. But they are fantactic lights.

I have that fixture in a 36" and I like it. It sits about the tank 4 or 5 " and it doesn't have a heat build-up although the cooling fan is a little noisy. I have a lot of evaporation in my tank. About a gallon every 3 or 4 days.

I never got a chance to add the fan. I opened windows in the room to cool the room a little. and added another PH. The temp dropped below 80 and is holding between 79 in the morning to a high of 81.5 at lights out. At least it's a little better.

I am setting up a fan tonight. I have 36" Orbit 2 x 96 Dual daylite and dual actinic. It's is on a stand five or six inches above the top. I the daylite on 10 hours a day and the Actinic aout 8 hrs.

You might have a good point there. I have a Berlin Hang on skimmer with a large pump(i can't remember the model). That could be the culprit.

Still new to saltwater, but for years we had freshwater tanks. I decided recently to give saltwater a try and I am sooo glad I did.

My saltwater tank has been up and going for a few months and all water parameters are excellent . I have now started to think about adding fish. I have read all the compatibility charts, but would like suggestions or even a list of what fishes everyone started with.

I went from cc to a sand bed when I changed. The tank was about 4 months old and very lightly stocked. I had 25 lbs of live rock at the time of the switch and have since added 25 lbs more.
