    Transferring tanks?

Hi, I was wondering what the best way to transfer fish from one tank to another is? I had to move my mbunas in my peacocks and haps as a emergency fix but now I want to move them back and I was wondering if I should put them in a bucket and mix the water or what the best way is to move them...

Help me ID this fish please

He is very beautiful in person, the white on his fins turns almost peach sometimes and almost light blue sometimes. But like I said he's kind of aggressive. I am moving him to my mbuna tank. He keeps beating my red empress up!

Really? Upgrade? I was told to overcrowd! I have a canister 403 fluval for a 100 gallon tank and a 50 gallon filter on the back. Plus I do 25-50% water changes weekly, depending on test readings. The fish are around 1.5-2". Except the demasoni, which are smaller. I am moving the haps, as soon...

Thank you! I put 2 other posts on here asking for help and no one would help me! He seems to be hiding really good right now, so I may let him stay in the tank tonight. I have the other tanks up and cycling but the 10 gallon is closest. I am actually thinking about getting rid of the bully...

Help! My johanni is horrible! I have a 55 gallon tank with 8 cichlids. All but two are mbunas, the other 2 are haps. I have 2 Johanni's and the bigger one is trying to kill the smaller one. Should I put the smaller one in a MUCH smaller 10 gallon until I can get another tank or will he...

    ich?

That looks like ich to me! Increase your temperature in the tank slowly (but not above 85 degrees) and use a salt treatment like "marine salt" or even "cichlid salt" and "aquarium salt" is widly used for 10 days. Even if the spots go away you don't want to stop treatment. Also you may want to...

My tank is so messed up

I have a 55 gallon fish tank with 2 dwarf mbunas about half inch, 2 haps about 1 inch, 4 regular mbunas about 1.5 inches. I also have a smaller bristol nose pleco and a synodontis catfish. My tank is cycling again because I added the 2 dwarfs and the 2 haps, so it is soooooooooo cloudy that I...
