    They aren't necessarily rare it is just I don't often see them or hear about them but banjo cats along with blue panaque plecos (l-239 I believe) and Cardinal shrimp, I also have crypt nurrii and l-200 green phantom pleco and l-128 blue phantom pleco as previously mentioned Sent from my iPad...

    I couldn't either especially since I only gave him a quart sized bag full of frogbit for free, and I only wanted some snails and he just offered to give me the whole tank...but I mostly think he did it because he was leaving the country the next day and was also in the progress of moving houses...

    Haha, luckily where I live the water is perfect for them...which is bad for me since I tend to keep a large amount of fish that prefer soft water, but luckily I don't even have to do anything for these little guys now only time will tell if they will breed for me or not Sent from my iPhone...

    I haven't really read up on red crabs to much...but if you are interested in another species of crab I would suggest you check out vampire crabs they are pretty neat little guys that would do well with plants and they are small and fairly easy to breed I would definitely look into them if you...

    I would definitely recommend some bottom dwellers such as a shoal of Corrys or some kuhli loaches or a pair of rams could work also, and as already mentioned they do get fairly large and seven might turn out to be too many in that sized tank pretty soon. Sent from my iPad using Aquarium Advice
