I just had a quick question, i just started a 120 gallon reef which uses a 1290 gph pump, and a 375w heater, and a 20w and 40w fluorescent bulbs, does this setup use up alot of electricity? I live at my parents house and i wanted to know if it uses lots of electricity, thanks.

i setup a sump on a 120 gallon reef with a 1290 gph pump, the overflow is hanging from the side and the pipes are going to the sump under the tank, my question is how come when i set it all up, and started running it, you can hear the water being sucked down the overflow pipe, its really loud...
