Hi all, My partner's 11year old boy wants a little project to cultivate brine shrimp to feed my reef tank. Is this quite straightforward? What would he need to keep them alive?

I thought it depended on the size of the fish really. They're all small ones for their type. Lfs said I was ok with 4-6 small fish.

It's 2 x 11W PL White / Blue lighting, from Aquaone. they're the half blue, half white ones.

It's been running for about 3 months or so now. I always top it up with RO from the lsf, and the saltwater is consistently from them too.

I don't know what my parameters are exactly. I just take water samples into my lfs and they check everything for me. Everything seems fine and they've told me my water is how it should be. Slight amounts of nitrate but that was when it was due a water change so that should've sorted that...
