Some of my zoas seem to be losing color. Multiplying like crazy just have no color. Is this due to bleaching? Or is this just what type it is? How do I safely get rid of then or thin them. They used to be mostly the color of the one in the upper right.

I have been mixing about a cup of carbon and a cup of Gfo in a nextreef reactor. It's a 110 mixed reef with a 35 gall sump. Is this a normal practice to mix the two? Will it cause any problems? I just turn the flow up till I get a good simmer.
