    Rainbow shark/Red-tailed shark

Last night while on my computer I heard gravel being "hit" and I looked over to my 20 gallon and saw my rainbow shark, 4-5ins going berserk swimming really fast and slamming his body up against the gravel. The shark was acting like he had something inside him or trying to run away for something...

    Guppies dying!!!

Her tail was perfect, as with the other 2 females before they died, and it wouldn't be the filter because I bought one with a gentle pull just because I knew fry was inevitable.

    Guppies dying!!!

The male is still also going "crazy". Not sure if she's also pregnant or not, she isn't showing any signs which is the black spot and is moving around barley, just basically floating.

    Guppies dying!!!

If it is a parasite, what would it be and what chemicals are there to get rid of it. Also it does not explain my remaining females shredded tale fin. I have sadly flushed the last fish so unless I see whiting around the remaining female and male then I guess I would have to quarantine, and...

    Guppies dying!!!

So I have a 10 gallon tank that I started about 3 weeks ago, I filtered the tank for a week with no fish and I added bacteria supplements that would speed along the process and make the tank fish friendly (for that entire week and proper amount following the instructions). I added my guppies...

    Ammonia on the rise.

Thinking about it the leaves of one of my plants have been dying and floating often and I usually scoop them out. But most of the plant is green, just a leaf or two every other day I see floating around.

    Ammonia on the rise.

It wouldn't be the tap since I have 10 gallon with 5 guppies fully grown and about 30 fry living in a mesh until I get my 5 gallon cycled. That tank is testing fine for everything and I do 25% water changes everyday due to the fry.

    Ammonia on the rise.

If anything about 2 weeks ago I rinsed my filter in a bucket from a water change not to kill any good bacteria, it was extremely dirty so I went ahead and did that if that's not it then maybe the fish actually are out growing the tank. They are pretty small though, the tigers each average only...

    Ammonia on the rise.

Yes the tank is cycled and its mechanical filtration. The shark isn't at all aggressive and actually schools with the barbs weirdly.

    Ammonia on the rise.

For the past week now my ammonia levels are rising rapidly. The tank is a 20 gallon and it has been running for almost 2 months now. I have 7 tiger barbs (small) and 1 rainbow shark with 2 live plants. I have stopped feeding for 2 days now and have been doing 20% water changes every other day...

Tank Uneven Should I be worried.

It is on a stand, or really my nightstand next to my bed in which case it may be that. But upon setting up the tank when I placed it on the stand I noticed that the tank was "wobbly?" not too sure if that is the correct term to define it, but the back left and front right sides I was able to...

Tank Uneven Should I be worried.

So I just bought a 10 gallon the other day and the water line leans to the right. My 20 gallon I noticed leans to the right too but nowhere as much as this. Should I be worried is my question, I have read that an uneven tank could cause the glass to shatter which would be absolutely terrible. I...
