Oh! And I also purchased a brand new 45 gallon bow front aquarium to replace the leaky 30 gallon my sorority lived in. (Currently temporarily stuck in a 20 gallon, can you say "nipped fins"?) I am very excited to set it up and will post pictures of the tank with the ladies when it's ready...

Here's a shot of one of two big ear females I have. Update on the big ear males name: A friend decided to name him "Master Betta". I apologize for the bad taste, but it still made me laugh. :)

My Mexican Dwarf Crayfish seems to hold is own quite well In my sorority tank. There are arguments over food, but if a fish gets too close, he gives them a quick snap of the claw, and that's that! They have learned to keep their distance. Here's a few pics of him and the girls. In the whole...

Depending on the level and how much care you give them, many can live to be a month old.

You could, but remember that they could have more than 50 or 100 babies. So if you do, space might get cramped. Male to female fry ratio varies in every spawn.

You will need more than one tank to breed. If you have a sorority, from experience I'd say put no more than 5 girls in.

YAAAAYYYY! I'm so glad it worked out in your favour! I've since given up on that breeder as well as I haven't heard anything from him since I told him about your issues. I'm so glad you're getting your money back, and I wish you the most luck on your future purchases!

This is ALSO a great way to transfer babies into a new tank etc.

Siphon with some airline tubing into a bucket. When your done, use a flashlight to see if you have sucked up any babies.

If the water isn't warm enough for him, this could also be the reason for that. Good luck!
