Im not very familiar with lighing but if i take out the wrong bulbs wont it burn the ballast? How would you go about doing it?

The light already sits pretty high off the water so i dont know how i would change that. But ill figure something out. Im hoping to just be able to take out 2 light bulbs. Im just going ti have to figure out which 2 are on the same ballast.

I do believe it only has one switch. So im hoping to be able to remove 2 bulbs and later on i have room for expansion.

I use a Fluval 306 on my 40 gallon breeder and it runs perfect. I love it. If you can spare the money go with the 406 but the 306 will do fine in your tank.

My tanks petty established its been running for about 6 months now. It is a planted tank. All the parameters are fine. I did a 20% water change and they seem to be fine now.
