On my 29 gallon tank hood it's starting to get like a white cloudy stuff on it. I was wondering what's a safe way to clean it off. I used just a rag and water which helped a little. Anyone know of a good way to clean it?

Well she is retired and doesn't leave the house but maybe 2 times a week if she has to. And honestly I think she has more interest in them then she lets on. Especially when i had first got them she was even looking up fish to put in there! But she claims she doesn't like them lol

Sounds about exactly like mine. I'm wondering if the hose thing that goes down into the water doesn't seal so it can't pick up water, because long as I fill it over that hose thing and prime it a little it works fine.

I was feeding fish flakes and sinking bottom feeder food, however i ran out of the sinking food and got a different kind of sinking pellets that I have noticed seem to be cleaner and the fish seem to like it more. Plus a get like 2x as much for the same price.

My nitrites are at 0 and my nitrates stay around 20
