Question: If your whole tank was ill, why wouldn't you just treat them all in their normal tank, instead of trying to transfer the whole tank to qt?

I think when fishyrican said 'carpet surfing', he was referring to fish that can/will jump out of a tank...onto the floor...hence the term 'carpet surfing'...that's actually what made me LOL in my responding post :lol:

Question: I've been learning that putting shells in a fw tank is NOT supposed to be done...is that not for all species of fw fish then? Are there other species, besides the african cichlid shell dwellers that you can put shells in with? I'm SO confused! :|

The zebra oto and the candy stripe pleco are both adorable fish, and great for cleaning from what I've read :)
