What are the levels you are showing for the tank? And was that only two water changes in 3 months? Did you keep the same media when you swapped filters? If it's not a bacterial bloom or a cycle issue then it might be algae, how long do you leave the lights on for?

They are shy fish that like to stick together and prefer hiding spots so you may want to create an area they can be tucked away without completely disappearing.

If you don't want an overstocked tank I'd suggest some sort of plan for all the livebearer fry you are going to have. Either a fish big enough to pick fry off without bothering the other fish or finding a store/hobbyists willing to take them.

I would not recommend mixing goldfish with tropical, the temps are incompatible, plus angels can be aggressive and goldfish will eat smaller fish if they can get them in their mouth especially if they are comets.

I don't think I'd keep a black ghost knife fish with tiger barbs, and the it's going to need a much bigger tank. Bristlenose plecos poop a lot, so be prepared to have a lot of filtration and vacuuming if you get three.

My favorite is anubias nana, I've literally gone over a month with no lights without killing them, no ferts, no CO2. You can tie them to wood/rocks or put them in the sand (don't cover the rhizome!) so they're pretty versatile.

Did you match the water temp? If the temps are really off it can do something with the gasses in the tank and really mess up your fish, to the point of killing them.
