Wow that stinks im kinda a newbie to the planted tanks so don't take my word 100% just telling what i did i also dose weekly with API leaf zone an and flourish comprehensive then two caps of co2 sup either API co2 booster or excel i know when I researched em they said there very easy plants but...
Mine did that at first too but it kinda work its own way out i did sart placing root tabs near them though i though it was fungus and treated with peroxide but they seem to be doing great now
I though i had algae growing an all of a sudden bam moss idk but i like any suggestions of how because it just randomly appeared i have moss balls in the tank could those of some how reproduced ?
Its a aquanion filter an tge lights a odyssey i think like 2 18w t5s if i remember correct an ya the waters a little green :/ working on it i think its a combination of the drift wood an a huge growth spurt from everything in the tank
Well its defiantly not algae but when it started to grow it looked like it but now i think its defiantly some sort of moss ill start a thread maybe someone will know i like it though happy mistake lol one day i though my take was done the next everything blew up im quite pleased
K i was just curious being new to this just seemed like at the beginning of a tank most people do on here i was just worried i was under fertilizing my tank sense i hadn't gotten one everything seem healthy but not really taking off
Ya of love to get those to but id get murdered by my wife lol i also have otto cats love them but my next small tank will be dwarf puffers an that shrimp farm customer service is the best ive ever had
If u have other aqariums or friends with em get some of there established filter medium or subtrate or even just some of there water that always seems to help my tanks
