Switching from a FLUVAL 406 to PROFLEX SUMP Model 2

I'd personally go with a refugium. And to avoid another cycle, cure the rock. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Aquarium Advice mobile app

A lionfish will absolutely eat the other fish, and a fu Manchu is very tricky. If you decide to try a lion, go with a zebra or fuzzy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Starting Over (Sort Of)

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've posted on here. Welp, my lionfish finally outgrew his tank and is now happily in my friends 40B. I'm planning to restock with permanent residents this time. It's a 29G Biocube, been running for about a year. I want to try something new this time. My...

New tank just set it up cube 12 first saltwAter tank

May be a little late, but if you like GSP pick up some Blue Sympodium. Kinda looks alike, and I think it grows in the same way just slower. I may be entirely wrong so if anyone has better info go ahead

    Bio cube

If you do decide to dose, which I don't recommend, don't dose anything you can't test for.

Stock list for my 29g bioCube

No angels of any kind, too small. The Biocube is a great tank and is pretty flexible. I had a Longnose hawk for a while, they're really interesting fish. I got hit with ich and lost every fish, but I have a dwarf lion now.

    5gal nano?

Potentially yes, but everything can change in the blink of an eye. If you can go bigger I would, but yes, a 5 could work

Need to know what a good starter fish would be.

+1 on bottle bacteria. Maybe it's just my experience, but it'll cycle a tank overnight.

I'm running a Biocube 29 with no heaters and I have a constant 74 degrees, but I'd see what happens with one

    Lionfish Food

Hey everyone, I've had a lion for roughly a month, and he's doing great. I wanted to know if feed him only live ghost shrimp is ok. That's what he's been eating so far, and he's really healthy. I just want to check to make sure he can stay on this diet permanently. Thanks everyone!

    Go big or go home...right?

Wow. That was awful :P Also, in two weeks you almost quadrupled your tank size. I'm impressed.

Fluval edge vs 55 gallon tank

Personally, and I think a lion. Maybe it's because I have a lion or I just think they're the amazing fish, they're also pretty easy. The hardest part is switching them to frozen, which isn't too tricky. Plus, if you get a dwarf, you could get a snowflake eel or something of the sort.

    fish keeping abuse

I don't understand why this was posted. Were you trying to change people's minds about what an animal needs to live or trying to get a bunch of newbies to kill a lot of fish?

    10 gallon nano-reef coming together

They're new corals, but everyone has to start somewhere. Whenever I get a new coral, even if it's just a few polyps of a zoa frag, I get excited and think it looks awesome.
