dojo loaches safe for planted tank?

That is the case. Dojo like weather loaches, aka pond loaches are cold water. Best put with a gold fish. I've had a few loaches and they have never destroyed a plant. But they do sure like to uproot when they burrow under the substrate. Just an fyi

    Groupon BioBubble

4/3*pi*r cubed /2 1.5 gallons. I got. So better for bettas than what a lot of people use. But still not good for any fish.

    Overstocked the tank??

Too small. There is a very small footprint in that tank. No room to swim.

    Tank set up compatibility concerns

I've added 3 platys and a clown pleco. I don't know how we feel about thread bumps on this forum. So it's more of an update.

African Dwarf Frogs - Fitting for this tank?

I wish mine were like that. I've trained my angel and blood parrot to do it. Enjoy hand feeding I say

    Platy swimming very erratically?

There's not much. Salt bath would stress him out too much. Peas could help but if he's not eating it's not going to. Just keep an eye on him. A dead fish can cause a big ammonia spike. Sorry, same thing happened with my balloon mollies.

African Dwarf Frogs - Fitting for this tank?

I have 3 adfs in a 46 gallon bow front. They are about 3 years old. Never hand fed them. I feed them sinking pellets for bottom feeders. They find them as soon as the pellets hit the bottom. No problems what so ever. They do tend to give up when swimming up for air on occasion but they try again...

    Micro-Sport Fishing

Obviously terrible. Fishing is fine but with this "micro-fishing" you'll be catching the same fish over and over with no where for them to escape to. Very harmful and just cruel. Not only that but I can't see much sport or challenge in it. Ever hear of easy as shooting fish in a barrel? I...

    Otos and pleco ?

I feed mine algae pellets. Broken up into quarters. They usually aren't very interested though, they mostly just munch on algae on my broad leaf plants.

    Guppies Pregnant??

Pregnant. Really hard to say when they'll give birth. I've had ones that seemed to hold on to the fry for an eternity. Best 3 ways for me to tell (I'm on generation 8 of guppies now): *fish gets boxy and very square. Usually 24 hours before birth *Gravid spot gets very dark and you can see...

Nice, the plants should really look neat once they're grown. What size tank is that? 50g?

    Mopani vs Malaysian driftwood

The main difference for me was the colour the tannins in them made the water. One yellow, one red. I believe it was Malaysian that made the water reddish/brown.

    Otos and pleco ?

Selection must be grim and slim for you than! I just need to say if you have ottos and plecos you need to make sure you supplement their algae diet. Algae on your tank alone will not be enough for them. I'm sure you know that, but many don't. Ottos are neat, I've always had them. Presently I...

    Stocking and Combination Advice Please?

No discus or clown loach for sure. Stick with tetras. You might enjoy a half dozen tiger barbs though. Just don't mix them with anything as they can be very nippy. Maybe a few rosy and a few tiger barbs. They are cool fish. Also try to keep mollies in brackish water in the future. I find they...

Betta fish has a bloated belly abd bulging eyes!

Yes you should. I feed all of my fish peas once a week. It's good for them. Granted not all of them will actually eat them, it's still worthwhile. Peas will not harm your fish, I've had bloated fish a few times. Only twice did they survive. Swim bladders are essential to their well being...

Betta fish has a bloated belly abd bulging eyes!

Feed him peas. Often times fish get backed up and these aid in digestion. Can cause swim bladder disease and bloating/infection Keep the water extra warm and make sure it is changed 50% daily. Act fast.

    Fish temperment

Your tank is going to be too small for the angels, which will definitely cause some aggression. However I will say that re-arranging the tank can help if the angel feels like the guppies are in it's "territory". Bottom line though, you need a bigger tank. Also, if your angel is chasing your...

    Small colourful fish?!

German blue ram Fancy guppy pencil fish, though you may not be able to find one Platys are pretty colorful Dwarf gouramis I agree with, however I find them disturbingly susceptible to iridiovirus Just watch out for live bearers (guppy and platy), you'll have 2 then you'll have 20.

    Tank set up compatibility concerns

Hey all, Long time reader; first time poster. My biggest tank, a 45 gallon bowfront is getting pretty mixed in the way of species. So I want to get a specific opinion from you guys on what I should do to complete it. It's a mature tank. I have 2 platys, 2 big black skirt tetras, 3 ottos, 3...
