I was nervous because i saw some online pictures of assassin snails eating ghost and banded shrimp. Also how many dwarf chain loaches would i need? I read that they school.

My tank has been having a snail problem, I dont want to use chemicals or kill them myself. I have looked into yoyo loaches and assassin snails but am worried they may hurt my red cherry shrimp or Mexican dwarf lobster. The tank also has Furcata rainbowfish, a clown pleco and a German Ram.

Thanks, should i do one or two Bolivians. I might move them to a bigger tank later.

So would you recommend a female or male? On an unrelated note how would a peacock Gudgeon fit in this tank?

I had two German rams, but one died after a week. The other one is doing fine, but appears to be lonely. She had spent all of her time with the other Ram. The only other tank mates are Furcata Rainbows, which are to fast for her to interact with, and a young clown peco, which doesn't move from...

Now he is on the ground breathing rapidly. Could this be because i recently introduced a new clown pleco.

I have a pair of German Rams in a 20 gallon tank. They are both eating normally. The female swims around the tank while the male sits by the heater. The temperature of the tank is 80 F. Could this be a problem with heat or water quality?

I read they do not eat algae though. I need a bottom feeder that eats algae.
