I have 3 in my 10 gallon and they're great. I feed them frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp and mysis shrimp. They love it. Never tried the pellets.

Sorry about your fishie. I've never owned one of these, but he looks pretty bad. I'd say the most humane route at this point would be euthanasia. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I should also note that I have not added any new fish to the tank so I'm assuming it's a water issue. I ordered the API master test kit and should have it Monday. (I'm relatively new to this.) I'll figure out a game plan once I see where I'm at as far as water chemistry.
