I've just recently gotten another blushing whiteskirt to keep her company. I do not know the gender of the one I just got, but I was hoping it would encourage the gravid one to release her eggs.

she also tends to teeter and tilt when she tries to swim. Looks like she's having trouble staying upright.

I noticed eggs in my blushing white skirt tetra about 3 months ago. She is the only one of her kind in my tank, so she can't spawn with a male. I was wondering if she was waiting for a male or why she has been holding these eggs for so long. Is she ever going to 'lay' her eggs without a male...

It's hard to tell because they were all at different distances from the camera

How many inches long is it? I have 2 that are quite large too, mine are slightly under 2" long, you can see them compared to a normal sized one here.

Please help! I have 3 quarts of tap water with me, and I'm supposed to put 10 drops to the gallon, so I planned on putting about 7-8 drops in the water. When I tipped the water conditioning over and squeezed lightly, the stuff started streaming out for 1-2 seconds... What do I do?

Are they still alive? How oxygenated is the water? Do you have an airstone or filter that produces oxygen bubbles for the fish?

I am aware that they do NEED the correct ph, nitrate, ammonia levels etc. but he was the one paying and he said not to spend money on the test strips, so that was the end of that.

It was probably a 60-70% water change and I cleaned the glass and decor
