Guppies in a 5 gallon tank

I prefer the look of the danio to the gourami. I need to check with rifts to reefs to see if they carry them. I really don't know if I want to try ordering fish online just yet.

Where can you get them at? I would have to see if rifts to reefs has them. I don't know of any other fish stores around here.

Guppies in a 5 gallon tank

Hehe thanks. I really don't want to have to get another tank. The 5 gallon fits perfectly in my room. I have an idea where a 10 or 15 could fit but i would probably have to build a shelf or something to set it on. I just don't know what fish will fit in my 5 gallon. Most people tell me to...

Guppies in a 5 gallon tank

I have a filter but it's for my 5 gallon. I have some gravel left over, I think, it might be enough to fill up a 10 or 15. I'm just not sure because I don't have a lot of space in my room. The 5 gallon fits perfectly on my desk, I think a 10 or 15 might hang off the edge of my desk a little.

Guppies in a 5 gallon tank

I think I've decided I'd like to get guppies for my 5 gallon tank, what do you all think? How many should I put in here? Should I get a Cory catfish to help clean up as well?

    starting off fresh, need help

I currently have a betta in a 5 gallon tank. He seems sluggish and isn't eating as much, i think he may be getting old. I'm thinking whenever he passes I want to get different fish. Debating on possibly getting African Dwarf Frogs. I hear they are ok for a 5 gallon. I'm just wondering if it...

so, if I can't find the Kilifish, what else could go with the dwarf frog? i'd like one or two dwarf frogs and something else, i'm not sure if I want another betta or not, i'll definatly get a female this time if I do. I kind of wanted something a little more active.

what does IME mean? I've seen a few people post that here. I wonder if there are any others on this board from the Dallas area that might know of some fish stores I could try out.

I think its called Rifts 2 Reefs, I've been in there once before looking for a fish, they are pretty nice, I am pretty sure they have freshwater and saltwater fish. I remember them being more expensive then petco and what not but I guess that's not always a bad thing. I don't know of any others...

yeah I LOVE the Cowboys! I don't understand why they got rid of Ware! its is a shame :( I think he was one of my niece's favorite players. I myself am a Romo fan :) hehe. I have never heard of Killifish, can they be found at petsmart or petco? I'm not too knowledgable of many other fish places...

Wow! I've never seen a male like that, he is very pretty! I do like the coloration of the males but like you say the long find do seem to make them a little lazy. Mine is old and just hangs out by the filter now days. I'm waiting until something happens to him then I will get the frogs.

Yeah, I don't mind. Would it have to be a female Betta or would male work as well? I was reading online the frogs like plants and something to hide in. Hopefully that won't pack the tank too full.

Yeah I'm really liking the ADF option, I tried looking online at walmart but even searching 10 gallon tanks it comes up with smaller tanks, I'll look in stores soon to see what they really have. I would like to stick with my 5 gallon tank for now since I have it already. I will one day get a...

Ooohh! That's cool! I'm kind of tired of bettas, I've had so many, I'm wanting to try something new but maybe a Betta with the frogs will be neat, I need to do some research on the frogs, to see if I will be able to keep them alive lol, but they seem really cute! I wouldn't mind getting a few.

My 5 gallon has a lid (in the picture) I was just saying if I get a 10 gallon, it doesn't have a lid. I'm trying to stick with my 5 gallon if possible.

Aww they are cute!! Would they go well in a 5 gallon tank? If so could I have other fish with them or just 2 frogs?
