I need help on how to transfer fish from one tank to another. I have 20 gallon and got 40 gallon a month ago. It has no ammonia and nitrites and 5 ppm nitrates. I need the best way possible to avoid deaths. Replying greatly appreciated!
I have 20 gallon tank and got a 40 about a month ago. I need help on how to transfer fish over. In my 40 I have 0 ammonia and nitrite and have 5 ppm nitrates. It's been like this since last week and did a few water changes. And just needed help on how to transfer fish without any deaths...
Cory cats would be great but would have limited amount of fish. If you want variety try getting small non schooling fish that can be no more than 4 inches. Guppies can be about 2 inches and if you are a beginner those would be great fish!
My old plants and decor I removed to the new tank. And is about 80 degrees and put about a gallon of old water to the new tank. Does this help? Plus my glofish has been nipping fins and is it okay for me to put him in the 40 so I can have him help cycle.
