Welp, how embarrassing.. I overreacted. The shrimp is still fine and dandy. The legs were so small they looked like they were severed but I guess not... The betta still nips at them but they are too fast for him. I guess I was just stressed because the other one died and I don't know how.

There's quite a bit more white spots now, but he still seems to be acting normal... The temperature is at 85 F now and I will be bumping it up to 86 in about an hour. I hope the shrimp and plants survive the temperature being so high.
