It's usually 1 inch of fish per gallon :)

Do daily, or every other day 10-20% water changes and his fins should grow back and be fine :)

I also had that problem, see something cool and without doing research just buy it instantly. I agree with the others, clean out whatever you had in the tank and cycle the tank while you figure out what you want to stock the tank with. :thumb: Best of luck!

If I were you i'd stick to some schooling fish and a couple shrimps, if you're not satisfied with that then one or two of you larger fish would be good. Also keep in mind that Mollies are livebreeders and they do in fact breed a lot.
