    Saturday I added dead rocks, and LR to my tank, then shortly added sand and LS. There is nothing else in the tank, only LR, dead rock, and LS.     Recommend a protein skimmer

    Can anybody recommend a protein skimmer for a 55 gallon SW tank? Right now using 1 inch live sand, live rock, no fishes in the tank. I have to Marineland 330 power filters on the back and 1 powerhead 550 for circulation. Thanks

    Salinity reading too high

    Any way to lower the salinity of a tank? The tank has no fish or living creatures of any kind in it. Right now its only 55 gallon tank, UGF, and power heads. Every time I check the salinity using a hydrometer I get 1.027 Thanks
