I am pieceing together my 210 gallon tank. I wanted to know if i was using a 1200gph overflow would a mag 12 from the refugium be ok to run with that or would i have to upgrade to a mag 18. It will be going up about 5 ft. thanks for your time brian

Just wondering i have read a few people have had problems with the gramma being around cleaner shrimp anybody have any feedback on this.

I have a white stripped Maroon Clown and I want to try to get a anemone for him. What is the best one to look for. I am running about 5 wpg. Is there a pretty hardy one that is known to host pretty well. I do know that there no guareentee to host.

I went and bought a cleaner shrimp (skunk), and I guess he doesnt know his job. All my fish stop right beside him and try to get him to come onto them and he has no interest> Do you just run a chance of them not cleaning fish, so do some dont> I guess I got the lazy cleaner.

Would i be ok to get a cleaner shrimp, with a yellow tang, sailfin, coral beauty, marron clown, copperband. I also have some emerald crabs. Let me know if anybody else has any of this with cleaner shrimp, like a pepermint or something. thanks

I have a copperband that eats mysis shrimp like no tommorow. He tries to eat flakes but just spits them out. Any other food I can try feeding him so I am just not feeding him the mysis all the time?

I have seen this stuff they call purple up that supposidly helps the growth of coraline algea. Anyone use this stuff any success.

Any of you out there with copperbands are they a good fish? Are they really delicate? Real sensitive to change. I have heard they dont live very long? Just opinions would be much appreciated.

To make a long story short. I have caught three out of my tank with this method. I put a piece of raw shrimp on the feeding wand i use for my lion and harlequin, the clear one, when i put it into the tank i let the mantis come and they actually attack the raw meat. Then i would just pull them up...

Just a question. My yellow tang I have had him about 2 yrs and eats like crazy. But he is not a bright as the yellow tangs i have seen. Any food that is know to help the yellow tangs keep their bright yellow color. thanks brian

any help on the coral beauty not eating. He is eating all the algae off the LR and around the tank, but cant get him to eat pellets or frozens. Do they take awhile to get to eat. I got him on Saturday. Any suggestions welcome.

I have a koran angel. That has the cloudy eyes. What is my resolution for this? Should I put him in a QT tank? What medication do I get for him? I have been having problems with my PH, that i currently have a post on, my other fish are great, but the koran has the cloudy eyes. I love this fish...

I have a sea cucumber that came along with a huge piece of live rock. Hes about 5 inches long. I have read that if fish mess with him he will excret toxins into the water and can be toxic to the fish. Any body have any problems like this? Any idea what to do with him? thanks brian

Hello, I have had a couple crabs dye in my tank. My fish are all doing great. But just cant seem to keep crabs. I have a ton of live rock in my tank, so there should be plenty of food. Let me know if any one has any suggestions on what to check for or what it might be. thanks for your time brian
