    Dwarf gourami red spot?

    Thanks. I got some melafix for wounds/abrasions. He may have got it from always pecking at the driftwood. After 3 days the spot has reduced and changed to brown so hopefully working. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Juwel Rio light help

    Anyone know about the Juwel Rio 125 tank. I have one and it has 2 light tubes, blue and white. I presumed you can switch them individual but I cannot find anywhere on the fitting that would do that, only the main on/off switch. Am I missing something? Can these tubes be used separately?     Just lately my tank is getting worse every day with brown/ black bits on top of the sand. I have a large piece of driftwood in there but I scrubbed and cleaned before I put in.     I have 6 plants. I did a 30% WC yesterday and tested today with the API master kit. It has dropped from 0.5 although not sure if zero. The colour chart is blue for zero and light purple for 0.25. It was kind of a slightly darker blue but not purple. I will do a WC today and test again tommorow...

    Hi. I'm cycling with 5 zebra danio. Had them for 5 days all doing fine. Looked today and one is missing. I've taken all decoration out, all filter from compartment, heater and pump.     So set up 28 gallon tank with live plants and started a fish-less cycle. Added the pure bacteria balls. Local aquarium asked about my readings when I was there and they are Ammonia 2 Nitrates 50 Nitrite 4 PH 7.4 He advised to get some danio so opted for 5 zebras. Just done a 25% water change...
