    Wisteria issues

I do appreciate. Just don't have the time to be going on here all the time to check replies. I have work, I run an exotic pet rescue out of my house, and have job applications to work on. And this thread wasn't all about how to prevent algae and how it's caused and all that. I was simply asking...

    MTS bio load?

I never go by those bio calculations. My 10 gallon planted aquarium has 7 pygmy gouramis, 4 neon tetras, 4 rummy nose tetras, 2 ottos, 8 fire red shrimp, 2 ghost shrimp, and about 20 MTS. It's all about range set up and parameters. My tank is heavily planted providing cover and lots of oxygen...

Starting a new shrimp tank need some info

I use Fluval Stratum or Seachem's Flourite substrate but I also do live plants which is what those substrates are for; and shrimp. With those, I don't recommend an under gravel filter. If you're going with regular gravel, the under gravel filter will be fine. As for later thickness, I would keep...

Ramshorn: I consider them a neusence snail. Assassin snails will eat them but never I eradicate them. They will just keep the population in check. Malaysian Trumpet Snails (MTS): Awesome snails! Good looking and beneficial. They burrow during the day and stir up the substrate which helps out...
