Got a new skimmer recently and for some reason there is not a constant flow of air bubbles coming from the pump. The pump seems to be pulsing and the bubbles comes out in puffs. Any suggestions.

I have 40 some odd lbs of live rock and am running an aquaclear70 with all the media in it. If I take out the biological media from the aqua clear and do a water change would that be the best way to lower the nitrates?

Noticed this stuff in my 45G tank this morning. Any help would be appreciated. If it helps, the water test I just did shows about 20ppm Nitrate and the slightest bit of Ammonia and 0 Nitrite. I have been using RO water since the beginning. This is in three different spots in my tank...

Noticed this brown stuff on my live rock a yesterday. Seems to be slowly spreading. Any ideas to what it is and if its bad how to get rid of it? Tank was cycled and fish have been in there about 2 weeks.

I have always heard that having two different clownfish species in the same tank may cause some unwanted aggression. But has anyone had any issues or would it be a bad idea to have a black/white Ocellaris Clownfish and a orange/white Ocellaris Clownfish in the same tank? Thanks

I am thinking about adding a Koralia 750 circulation pump. Basically I would have two circulation pump with the 425 on one side of the tank aimed more towards the top. The 750 would be on the opposite side more towards the bottom. Is this too much circulation?
