    Most good aquarium stores stock coral sand. I used that for my tank and it raises the ph as well as fitting in way better than normal gravel does. You however should look out for salt buildup around your tank and filter, you need to remove the stuff like once a month.. not that its dangerous but...

    Bristlenose pleco question ?

    Plecos are very cute and interesting fish, i had a pair which spawned once (the babies are soooo tiny!)... unfortunatly it was in my dwarf shell dwelling chiclid tank and they didnt survive more than a week... :( I now have a spare tank always on hand for those unexpected occurences!

    Ah... i suspected as much... :x So if stainless is dangerous, would coating it in something make it less so? I mean... if something did get through it would be pretty obvious and a half yearly or yearly re-coat to keep waterproofness would be needed. Would that be effective? If not i'll have...
