They will spread through side chutes but can also be trimmed and the trimming can be replanted as well. Can grow in low to high light with or without CO2. They do like fertilizers.

My staurgyne repens were getting out of control and I needed a little room for some new stuff. I have the following available that could make well over 30 plants once trimmed down. There are over 20 rooted plants. They are a little leggy from not being trimmed up and I got behind on ferts but...

I like the red crypts mixed in to break things up and really like the look of the purple crypt as well. Sounds like this will be an amazing setup and you are much more patient than myself...lol
