Go with GLA Regulator if you can afford it. Get the biggest co2 canister that you can because it'll be more convenient for you at the end of the day. But a 5lb would do just fine. But they do have 10s and 20s and I'm pretty sure they have 15lbers.
I have an azoo Regulator that I bought from...
I like the idea of being able to customize my own ferts for that idea specifically. Algae and other issues I might run into that might call for more or less of a fert. I'm torn again lol. I kind of want it to be simple and just go from there. So I'm thinking of getting the premeasured and see...
Awesome. Will try soon. Do you all suggest I stop using the seachem line all together? Or should I use iron/potassium that I already have if I see a deficiency for it? I will also add 10ml of excel into the bottles to stop mold from growing and most likely add some to the tank every now and then...
I have low lighting I'm pretty sure of it. It's a beamwork 30" led light. I got it on eBay and it's pretty good imo for the price. Idk if I will upgrade soon or not since it's been doing well for me.
I can grow crypts and anubias and Sagittaria with it, most of the low-moderate light plants. I...
So I've had my 20 gallon running for about a year now. Always had plants in there and doing decent, through the neglect and hard times, they've always done well. Mostly crypts in there. Threw a huge anubias in there. Sag. To see what would happen, everything was alright.
I started with co2...
I like the peacock gudgeons idea. I'm sure they would be a little difficult to find, I might have to order them if I decided to get that.
I kind of was looking for a free swimming schooling fish, any ideas?
I want to get new fish for my planted aquarium and since I've kept the same fish for the past 2 years, I've kinda lost touch on my options. I would like tetras but I'm open. It's a 20 gallon that's fully stocked with plants and driftwood and I run co2.
The cohabitants are Nerite snail...
I did everything you said and realized it was the diffuser that I think drowned as I left it in there the whole time. Which was kind of stupid now that I think of it. I have it in bleach water for now, I tried leaving it out to dry for a day or two but it still is not working so I'm doing what...
So basically I had my co2 running fine on some questionable air tubing that eventually popped, I learned my lesson there and I got co2 proof tubing but it's been awhile since I had my co2 on it's just been sitting there for 3 weeks or so.
I got the new tubing and my psi was preset to 50psi...
This might sound like kind of dumb question, but what large knob are you talking about? I know most regulators come with one but I don't think mine does. It has like a ring that I can wrench open which is the like nut in between the solenoid and gauges
Is that what you're talking about?
As you can see from the pics, idk how normal this is or if it even is normal but the "co2 tubing" I bought from a hydroponics store on eBay seems to be expanding. It goes down once the co2 is shut off. As you can see on the left is the co2 tubing with nothing going through it, the right is the...
Thanks so much. The diffuser isn't the problem now that I tried that. My bubble counter was requiring more pressure I guess to get to the diffuser. It is a plastic piece of crap. I'm gonna order another one, any suggestions? I don't think I can get one that screws on to my regulator already...
This is my bubble counter and I think it has an integrated check valve in it. I noticed this morning when the co2 shut on that the flow of co2 was too weak for the water that tried to back siphon up the airline tubing. I just don't want to put so much co2 only because the diffuser is acting crappy.
