    Snail Infestation

To be honest I haven't got a clue they aren't the cone shaped ones they just look like a small shell shape. My tank is only small so can't get much more in my tank otherwise it will be overloaded. At the moment I'm picking them out as I see them, lesson definitely learnt with plants. Sent...

    Ammonia Spike

I was going from pebbles to gravel but it seemed to cycle out pretty quickly I presume because of the bacteria in the water and filter. It was fine for a week and then boom 0.25 and it just won't go away pH is normal 7.6. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

So I've had this Betta about 9 months now and he's had a very up and down life with his fins as he keeps losing them and growing them back. This morning I woke up and he was stuck in the side of the filter I presume because he's too weak to swim away. When I released him he dropped to the...

    Betta Fin

He's lively enough and he swims around in the breeding net fine, obviously he prefers to be out and swimming in the tank only time I let him out into tht is when I'm doing water changes in keeping a close eye on him but I feel a bit useless as he's not actually getting any better, I know it can...

    Holiday Problem

Well after a week of adding salt I'm seeing an improvement in my betta his fins are starting to grow back I only know this due to the transparent colour at the ends. I'm surprised he's happy tho as the ammonia just won't drop below 1pmm and the nitrite is 0.25-0.50pmm. I've now readded a API...
