I have three serpae tetra, and I was planning on getting 2-3 more. Is there anything else I can put in there that will get along with the tetras?

Plattys will do good with tetras but i would only get 2 due to the size of tank. 5 fish should be enough

Daphnia are People Too.
IMO, serpaes do not belong in a 10g tank. They would benefit greatly from being in a bigger tank because of their size and activity level. I have seen them get stunted in 10g tanks before.
There are lots of other species that really do better in a 10g tank however.
