Here is my 10 Gallon Freshwater Tank - Guppies, Ghost Shrimp, and Platies.

I have:
10 LBS of gravel on the bottom of the tank
A Tetra Whisper EX 20 Filter
A Fluval Q .5 Air Pump connected to a Gang Valve connected to two air stones and one Dragon Bubbler Ornament
Stock Lights
A small submersible heater
A few fake plants and a real rock that was properly cleaned first.

Fish wise I have :
Ten or so guppies
2 Platies
3 Ghost Shrimp
4 Skirt Tetra's
4 Lamp Eye Tetra's

It is a bit crowded, the guppies multiplied quickly.

I have a spare 10 Gallon tank I plan on setting up soon.

What else can I do for my current tank though?

Wow, this tank looks great, you have a strong filter and good air pump, that's awesome! You might need some more rocks, generally run 1.5lb to 2lb for every gallon but that's also preference based, i do that range because it gives me enough to actually plant and hold it down. I use real plants just because they provide more beneficial use but again, preference. You'll probably need to split up that fish stock to the other tank for sure. I changed the stock light to a bit more better light (color enhancing) and less energy usage.... How long have you had your tank?

I have had the tank for a couple months now, but there have been some issues which have been recently fixed. The last filter broke down right before New Years, so I didn't have a chance to make it to the store. Luckily everything is back up and running, so this tank has been set up like this for two months, while the air pump is a week old.

I have a 20 gallon with: 10 guppies 5 neons 2 Cory's 6 ghost shrimp and 5 mystery snails
