have you compared the price of an acrylic to a glass? you might get annoyed with the acrylic, they scratch so easily and over time they need to be buffed and polished

Yes, done lots of research, what it came down to for me is:
1. My glass tank is scratched (the guy stood in front of the big ones when I was looking at the tank so I didn't see until I got it set up.
2. You can't polish those out of glass.
3. Glass is heavy
4. Acrylic is strong both on impact and bonding wise.

All public aquariums use acrylic, I think the scratching thing is blown out of proportion. I have learned how to clean it the right way, so I hope to avoid that! And if it does, I can buff it, yeah!

The place I'm buying from has been making acrylic tanks since the late 70's early 80's and they have good reviews on RC and others from long time owners. It has a lifetime warranty.

So excited! It takes four weeks to make and ship. I'm getting the stand unfinished so I can match it to my living room cabinets.

It is actually 194 gallons with the sump being 59.8 gallons.
