Have you considered running a CO2 system? Also put more than one root tab under the amazon. I put 3 root tabs under each of my amazon swords. It is a heavy root feeder plant.

How many did you put before? As Roy said, 2-3 around the sword is ideal. If you only out 1, you can add 2 more...

I have considered the co2 system I'm wait for when I can afford a nice kit. And I will add more root tabs tomorrow and see how it helps

okay...good. and you could actually get a CO2 DIY help from the experts here..it will not cost you much if you are willing. I am still afraid of the routine..so I am staying low light...

I also add 3 root tabs every month. Make sure it's completely covered or it might leech out to the water column.

Not really deep but the depth that you know the root tab is really covered but at the same time the plants' roots will still reach it.
