20 gallon or no?

Is a 20 gallon tank a good size for small tropical fish like guppies? I have 5 guppies in a 5 gallon and i want to get a bigger tank. I am thinking on buying a marineland bio wheel filter led kit. Is that a good tank?

its a great tank, imo a little big. id be going for shell cichlids or dwarf pseudocrenilabrus in a 20.
so yes itd be fine

get a 20G long if you can
you can put alot of other things in it too

bio wheel is fine, but try not to buy the small size ones
bigger is usually better when filters are concerned

Yes it sounds like a wonderful tank, are you planning on moving the guppies to it? They shouldn't be in anything less than a 10g aquarium, especially if you have 5 of them. Like potatochobit said, a long, rather than high aquarium is optimum.
