Teeth is overgrown. It needs to be trimmed down manually at this point.

You aren't wrong about the beak needing a trim! I'm preparing to do the procedure this week. Just need to get my hands on some Clove Oil and get on with it.

I have live snails also but according to my local fish shop they are too hard for his him, I've also tried stuffing food into soft rock but no avail, he will not wear his own down, so it's time for the big trim!

The only shell that shouldn't be fed to small puffers are Malaysian trumpet snail. All other snails are puffer safe. Once his teeth is shorter, then he can eat snails.

Have you posted about this puffer before? Your name looks familiar.

Hey Terrance,
Yeah I've posted about this little guy before when he had a bad fin! All healthy now except the overgrown beak, he will also take flake food at the moment which is good (healthy nutrients etc and easy for him to eat) for keeping him in goo health!
