25g tank ideas

In the distant future, I may consider re-stocking my 25g tank. The tank has 3 amazon swords, and 2 anubias along with several fake plants, and 3 large pieces of rose quartz. Sand substrate.

I would like a tank with a lot of color and movement, that looks "full". I already have a platy tank, so I want to do something different than tropical community. I was leaning towards semi aggressive? Any ideas?

I have a similar size tank which i have stocked with a pair of Kribenis Cichlid's, 12 Tiger Barbs which you may need to obtain less since your tank is approximately ten gallons smaller than mine, and 3 Upside down catfish. They get along well with only the occasional squable when one set of fish get into the other set's territory. This build gives you bottom activity in the Kribensis, middle activity in the tiger barbs, and upper activity with the upside down catfish.
