29 Gallon Stocking. NEED IDEAS!!

Just starting up a new aquarium- 29 gallons long. Looking for stocking ideas.

I want as much colour as possible!

Was thinking 1 or 2 schools of small fish. I really like fancy guppies (I believe that's what they're called)

I would like some kind of bottom feeder. Along with at least 1 "centrepiece" fish. I enjoy bettas, but I'm not overly sure with compatibility.

Bettas and guppies are usually not a good thing. Bettas are fooled into thinking guppies are male bettas and will kill them. A nice school of corys would be great. They come in all sorts of colors. My favs are the orange laser corys.

You could do a honey gourami as a centerpiece fish, a school of cories, some fancy male guppies and a school of harlequin rasboras. If you stick with just the male guppies than you won't be over run with babies. Alison
