29g Stocking! (and other questions)

Decided not to do the angler. Instead I would like to do a peaceful FOWLR or reef if I'm ready for it... Whats the best stock? I like clowns, firefish, dwarf angels (maybe?), gobies and all kinds of shrimp. Blennies are pretty cool too. I'm not sure about all these because I don't want to end up with your standard SW tank (clowns, firefish, shrimp, gobies, blennies).

Angels are not reef safe.

Here is a list I made:

1. Purple Firefish
2. 2 Ocellaris Clowns (1 black, 1 orange)
3. 1 Clown Goby
4. A Cleaner Shrimp and a Fire Shrimp

Just some suggestions.

Yep, they are all reef safe and you could certainly add one more fish, or maybe two more fish with good filtration.

Xenia, Leathers, Zoas, Mushrooms.

I will go take some pictures of my corals which are all easy to keep.

I didn't post any pictures of my Zoas because they look bad today (they were knocked over).


On another note, I like the Yellow Clown Goby.

But the good news on most of those coral is that there are sooo many variations. There are 200+ zoas and different types of mushrooms. With leathers you have cabbage leather, toadstools, etc. and you can make your money fragging these cause they spread relatively quickly IMO

Thick finger leather

Bullseye mushroom
White pompom
everything in your pix!

I'm still a little intimidated by SW...

It all depends on the size. If you are getting frags you could add more at a time (and spend less

Looks good. But I'd stick to one goby for your size tank

I'm not going to do that fire shrimp either, or the black clown. I don't want to spend more than $25 on a fish/shrimp. Maybe a peppermint shrimp instead? $5.50 at my LFS. Fire's are like $40.
