29gal suggestions

I have a 29gal tank that houses 7 gold barbs, 6 panda corys, 3 bristle nose plecos. If like to add something else. ... either a single fish or small school. Problem is gold barbs are fairly aggressive. I've had guppies, platys, and a gourami which all died. The current fish have been around 6 months plus. Any suggestions or do I just leave as is?

That's interesting. Ime gold barbs aren't the slightest bit aggressive at all!

I am not sure about gold barbs, but I have a pair of German Blue Rams in my 29 with 6 green barbs. They are beautiful fish, and hold their own with the barbs.

You would need to keep a careful eye on your water quality though. 3 BN plecos would be a hefty bio load.
