30 gal filter recommendations

So, I finally get to set up the FW tank I've been trying for, but unfortunately I had to get rid of my SW set up.

Anyway, the FW will be a 30 gallon job

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for filters for this thing. I'm not sure what it will be stocked with since I don't know yet what the water parameters are going to be (I haven't moved in yet), but I figure it will just be a community tank of some sort.

I would use an Aquaclear 50 or 70 as a hob. If you plan on stocking it to the max, I'd say go with the 70. But if you going to pretty much abide by the Community 1 inch per gal, then the 50 will be fine. Big Al's has them on sale right now.

I second the aquaclear. Once you get up to 50 gals or more, consider canister filters
